Set beneath Lewesdon Hill there are many scenic walking and cycling routes that run directly from the property, taking in the breath taking views in this picturesque area. Ideally placed for touring Dorset and Somerset there are a selection of nearby towns to explore, such as Beaminster, Bridport with its popular vintage shops and Yeovil ideal for an afternoon spent browsing or sampling the cafe culture. Visit the Jurassic Coast beaches at Lyme Regis, West Bay and Charmouth that are great for a day out fossil hunting. Heading into the cottage from the lane, you are met by a welcoming lounge, which has a wood burner, TV and DVD, making it the perfect spot for relaxing after a country walk. Moving on from here is the open plan kitchen/diner, which has an AGA. This charming room is the ideal spot for relaxed family meals and is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. Heading back into the lounge, the cottage style stairs take you up to the first floor, which offers one light and airy double bedroom that overlooks the countryside and two single rooms.
